The Elephant Camp

The Elephant Camp has been rebuilt, and is now in a large private concession bounded by the Masuwe River, and the Zambezi Gorges, a mere 10 kilometres from the town of Victoria Falls. The Camp enjoys the breathtaking view of the seasonal spray from the Falls, and the  gorge which separate Zimbabwe and Zambia.

The Elephant Camp offers exclusive accommodation in 9 spacious, and luxurious tented suites. All suites are gorge facing, but have different views, and each boasts a private viewing deck and plunge pool, private lounge area, air-conditioning and fans, bath, inside and outside shower, mini bar and tea/coffee stations, 220V main Electricity. All suites are mosquito proofed with mosquito nets.

The main area houses a spacious lounge, dining are and bar, with extensive viewing deck. Meals are generally served al fresco. A short walkway leads to the sparkling pool.

Guests are offered a close interaction with wildlife – in particular elephant at the Wild Horizons Wildlife Sanctuary, as you will have an opportunity to meet the Wild Horizons elephants whilst in Camp. All other activities on offer in the Victoria Falls area are available at an additional cost.

Elephant Camp overlooks a waterhole, which is fed by natural streams in the rainy season.  You can also enjoy excellent walks and birding – allowing for unique photographic opportunities.

The camp is available on a Full Board rate, which includes all meals, accommodation, drinks (excluding premium brands), complimentary mini bars in the rooms, Victoria Falls Airport transfers, two transfers to Victoria Falls town per day, laundry and meeting the Wild Horizons elephants.

You can also choose a bed and breakfast rate, which includes accommodation, breakfast, Victoria Falls Airport transfers, two transfers to Victoria Falls town per day, laundry, and Meeting the Wild Horizons elephants. All activities other than specified are for guests own account

Children are most welcome at The Elephant Camp. Children do need to be under the supervision of their parents or a guardian at all times.
