Thorntree River Lodge - Victoria Falls - Zambia Lodge Accommodation

Located in the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park, Thorntree River Lodge enjoys beautiful scenery, which includes the Zambezi River, and numerous sightings of wildlife.

Accommodation is in 9 suites, all with private decks, overlooking the River. The accommodation is spacious, and en suite (with separate bath and shower).

The main lodge area is the perfect place to relax, and to enjoy delicious meals, at a communal table - al fresco if possible. For those wishing for a quiet private dinner, this can also be arranged.

Your stay includes meals and an activity - you can choose from a game drive, sunset cruise, or tour of the Falls themselves. Thorntree River Lodge is also known for its Elephant back excursions - here you can discover the beauty of the area from a new perspective. There are excursions in the morning and afternoon, and not only do you get learn more about these magnificent creatures, but you get to see wildlife.

There are also a multitude of other activities in the area - White Water Rafting, Canoeing, Bungi Jumping, and a host of other adventures. You might also just prefer a visit to the local market, and museum. Thorntree is a mere 13 kilometres from Livingstone Town, and 15 kilometres from Livingstone Airport.
