Waterberry Lodge Exterior

Waterberry is situated close to Livingstone, and set in a secluded position on the banks of the Zambezi River.
Accommodation is in thatched lodges, and you have a choice of double, twin or a family unit. There is accommodation for a maximum of 19 guests only, and the lodges are all en suite, and are equipped with mosquito nets and fans. The lodges are set close to the swimming pool, or overlooking the private lake.
The main Lodge building is double-storeyed, and allows for excellent views of the River, and the nearby game park. On the lower level of the main building, there is a dining area and sun terrace. The upper area houses the lounge and bar (a great venue for sundowners). Meals are served in the dining area, on the sun deck or the terrace overlooking the pool. Tea and coffee are always available and the bar is open at all reasonable times. Some meals are taken al fresco, and there are regular barbecues.
There is much to do at the lodge, and in Livingstone. At the lodge there is excellent birding, or you might enjoy a wilderness awareness and bush training course, village walks, fishing, picnic cruises and sundowners on the river. There are also tailor-made photographic workshops from 4 – 6 participants. In addition, you can visit the Victoria Falls themselves, Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, and local craft markets.
Island picnic lunches and sun downer cruises can be arranged on request, and all of the adventure activities offered in and around Livingstone can be booked at Waterberry.
You might prefer to just relax at the Lodge – on the sun deck, in the lounge, or around the pool (which also has a kiddie’s splash pool). Hippo and elephant are visitors to Waterberry, especially at dusk.
Guests can also enjoy an afternoon or morning or fishing accompanied by a specialist guide at an additional cost.
